SLO Youth Baseball is proud to offer an inclusive program for athletes of all abilities, including those who are neurodivergent or have physical differences. Our VIP (Very Important Player) program provides a safe, fun environment that creates an enriching experience that the players and their families will cherish forever.

The VIP team plays on Saturday mornings during the spring season. Each week, a Minors team joins the VIP team, and players from both groups are divided into two teams. A lightweight dimple ball is used, and players hit from a player pitch, coach pitch, or batting tee based on their comfort and ability. All players bat and field each inning, with Minors players partnering with VIP players in the field to promote teamwork and inclusion. Games typically consist of two innings, and outs or scores are not recorded, allowing the focus to remain on participation and enjoyment.

SLOYB is proud to provide this program free of charge to VIP families. Each player is provided with a SLOYB jersey, hat and season picture.
