For more than a half century, SLO Youth Baseball (SLOYB) has been providing quality baseball programs to the families of the San Luis Obispo community.  Parents bear the majority of the cost involved in the participation of our program through membership registration. When businesses take an interest in our local baseball programs, they are truly making a difference in our community as well as the lives of our youth players.

SLOYB is a nonprofit, volunteer lead organization. Any donation is tax deductible and 100% goes directly to improving the program for our youth.  For donations of $1,000 or more a check is the preferred payment.

On September 1st, 2025, construction started at French Park to increase the size of the infield to accommodate the older divisions. Previously, the diamond's size limited the field use to Minors and younger. This resulted in Majors having to play either a 5PM or 7PM game at Stockton field on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Families that played "the late game" would often get home close to 10PM on a school night - this needed to change! Now, with the increased infield size of French Park, all weekday games start at 5:00PM, and "the late game" is a thing of the past! A lot has already been accomplished, but we have plenty to still do. 

For the 2026, season, we are adding a French Park Field Renovation Booster to each of our sponsorship levels for those who would like to contribute to this cause.  Businesses, Families, or Individuals that participate will be included on the metal dedication plaque that will be hung at the field for decades to come.

Team Sponsorships are the centerpiece to the SLO Youth Baseball sponsorship program. It allows us to provide new baseball equipment each season and keep the costs of baseball down for all SLOYB families.  As a Team Sponsor, you really are a part of the team. Your business name will be visible on each player’s jersey in every game, and displayed on the SLOYB website. Your company or name will be added to the metal dedication plaque that will be hung at French Park if you choose to upgrade the Team Sponsorship with the French Park Field Renovation Booster. 

Team Sponsorships are $500 per team and $750 with the French Park Renovation Booster. Team sponsorships will be assigned to the teams on a first come, first served basis. SLOYB will do everything we can to match your sponsorship to the team that your child plays on (please list your athlete's name(s) in the comments section when submitting payment).
